Before you continue...
If you are viewing this one a mobile device, things won't make that much sense as you won't be able to see the wonderful background image, nor does the nice bg music start playing automaticlly, and, unfortunatley, there is really no eligant workaround to this that I know, so this little portion right here will allow you to view the image and place the bg music... Sorry for the inconvinience ;-;...
Once Again, Happy Birthday!
I'm not quite sure what to put here, other than repeatedly type happy birthday. I suppose I could say that I was going to give you a present, but given that I can't really arrange to meet you somewhere and snail mail being weird to use since we're both in this town... yeah, well I'll just hold onto it for later I suppose. Sooo, to make up for that oversight, I have made this webpage as a little gift for you! That way, I can be happy that I have given something to you, as useless as it may be :p.
This year has be rather crazy, with many things going on here and there, ranging from politics to interpersonal conflicts, but that's all in the past now. I realize I'm sounding like one of those lame cardboard cutout gift cards but that's because I don't know what to say... sorry. Anywho, while there may be greater challenges ahead as you prepare to head back into the realm of academia, there is one thing that you should go ahead and take time to reflect upon, being the past. Kind of contradictory, huh? But it'll make more sense in the next paragraph...(hopefully)...
It is only in the past that you can look upon to further your understanding of the future. By seeing into the past and looking for flaws not only in yourself, but in others, you can futher yourself by taking the first step towards a better future. Because sometimes, the hardest things to fix in the now, are seemingly easy in hindsight. Not only can you become a better person by reflecting upon the past, you can remind yourself of why you are doing what you are doing. Sometimes in our restless world, we lose track of why we're doing what we're doing. As a matter of fact, it's happened to me several times in my first semester of college. And to clarify, they are not thoughts of droping out or changing majors, I'm pretty solid there, but, I digress. To recap, reflect upon the past, and as much of it as you can, not just what happend an hour ago, nor a day, nor week or year. Think back as far as you can and recall you thoughs and amitions from your youth! Only then, can you see the paths ahead more clearly. These are the words of a wise old man... or so they say.
You can ignore this paragraph, it's just going to be me [braging/complaining] <- (pick one) about the things that I did to make the webpage look decent. For the coding part of the work, it was relatively easy, I just had a bit of trouble here and there, the greatest of the troubles being getting the darn sound and background to look nice. In the end, I had to provide the alternite link and player for you get the thing working on mobile,,, well, not quite working but I think you understand what I mean. Aisde from that, I'd like to mention I'm really tired right now... I have been working on this over a span of several days, but I felt like getting a lot of the finer touches done the day before your birthday... so yeah. Sorry if I'm misspelling things left and right here. It was really fun making all of this not only for the expirence, but, my real goal is just to try to get a smile on your face, so if you haven't smilled yet, then smile silly ^-^. Anywho, I don't want this to turn into a rant about the whole expirence, so I'll let you go onto the next paragraph.
I would like to thank you for all of the times we had in high school and for all of the time you have spent with me, I will hold onto those memories dearly and cherish them for the years to come. I would also like to thank you for putting up with all of my oddities, and me in general. You're one of the few people who can deal with such a weirdo like me, and I thank you for that. Truely. Anywho, I look forward to whatever the future may hold, even for the most random and seemingly pointless things. For example, people at MIT make spinich that can detect bombs... so that's always nice ^-^. But yeah, thanks for everything!
If you happened to actually read all of this and have gotten this far, I would like to thanky you for doing so, because, hey, it's the least I could do. If you noticed that there has been several tone changes that occur throughout the page, it's because I made this page throughout several days, with different ideas as to what to do for this page. I'm hoping that you may have nodded your head serveral times, smiled, or gave thought to something on this page. But hey, enough of my rambling, am I right? Happy Birthday Keila!!! Have a giant cake below!
